| Summer 2013 India Ink, Charcoal, Watercolor Paint The India ink is the first layer, it is gestural drawings done during a session with a live model. The models were moving, so the idea was to put down a few basic lines to demonstrate each pose. Next I used a live model to draw the large figure in charcoal, and lastly I went back in with the watercolor paint to emphasize the figure drawn during the gestural drawings. |
